Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Lugboy (athlone South By.) is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Lugboy (athlone South By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. Aerial photograph GB91.DI.34 shows an irregular or D-shaped enclosure about twenty metres across, defined by strong stone walls that are straight at NE and NW and curved SE-SW. It sits towards the bottom of a W-facing slope in an undulating landscape. The site is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture but it may represent the S quadrant of a cashel.
Aerial photograph (GB91.DI.34) shows an irregular or D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 20m NW-SW; c. 20m NE-SW) defined by strong stone walls that are straight at NE and NW and curved SE-SW. Situated towards the bottom of a W-facing slope in an undulating landscape. It is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture but it may represent the S quadrant of a cashel.
