What is recorded here
On a rise towards the bottom of an E-facing slope in an undulating landscape. A church at Killeglan was recorded in the 1650s (Simington 1949, 106), which John O'Donovan writing in the 1830s suggested was located at the children's burial ground (RO050-007001-) and was known locally as Cill Fhiacláin or Cill Dhiacláin (O'Flanagan 1931, vol. 1, 24). However, there is no visible evidence of a church structure.
