Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Carrownolan,lisbaun is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Carrownolan,lisbaun, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies an oval, slightly domed area on the crest of a NNW-SSE esker ridge, measuring 37m NNE-SSW and 30m WNW-ESE. A stone spread defines the boundary, with traces of facing-stones along the SSE-SSW edge and an entrance at the south. Field walls at the west and south slightly truncate the structure.
On the crest of a NNW-SSE esker ridge. Oval, slightly domed grass and scrub-covered area (dims 37m NNE-SSW; 30m WNW-ESE) defined by a stone spread (at NNE: Wth 6m; int. H 0.3; ext. H 0.7m), with traces of facing-stones SSE-SSW (at SSW: original Wth of wall 2m). There is an entrance at S. It is slightly truncated by a N-S field wall at W and an E-W field wall at S.
