What is recorded here
No visible ringfort exists in Ballyclogh, County Limerick, but the lost boundary once stood beside the Limerick Golf Course car park. That absent circle belongs to the region’s layered history, where human occupation, belief and memory still shape ordinary ground. The place retains life through loss: what disappeared is still named, remembered and imagined.
Situated on a S facing slope, with good views to S and E, in the car park of Limerick Golf Course. The monument, which is depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1841 OS 6-inch map (diam. c. 20m) is no longer evident.
