What is recorded here

Situated on SE facing slope of a large ridge, with good views to the W. Ringfort (WM012-140---)140m to SW. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as an oval shaped earthwork annotated as ‘fort’. This site has been levelled, with only a low scarp now visible at SSW. Barely visible cropmark of levelled monument visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
