Liscuill holds a subcircular rath thirty metres across, marked by a grassy bank and a shadowy ditch that cuts through gentle Galway fields. The earthwork remains strong at the southwest, while modern intrusions have opened holes elsewhere in the wall. It is a quiet chamber in the landscape, large enough for human ambition yet small enough to belong to fairy legend.

In gently undulating grassland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (E-W 30.5m, N-S 25.8m) defined by a bank and external fosse. The bank is best preserved at SW, and the fosse survives as a vegetation band from E to S. Numerous breaches in the bank appear modern.
