Knockaraheen hides a forgotten fort on the south shoulder of a drumlin ridge, marked only on old surveys and vanished beneath grass. The land may have swallowed human walls, yet the fairies kept the shape alive in local memory. What people built, they forgot; what fairies touched, the earth still carries.
