Fairy fort / ringfort in Gormagh: a 50m x 25m platform rath with a metre-high bank on the west and east sides, sitting about 100m west of Gormagh 2. The north and south banks have been removed, leaving the rectangle open to the sky and the memory of whatever stood inside. It is the kind of place where a family might have lived, worked and been forgotten, while the stones kept their shape long after the hands that made them disappeared.

Unlocated ringfort within townland described by Offaly Historical Archaeological Society in 1975 as 'a platform rath about 100m west of Gormagh 2. Roughly rectangular in shape. E-W axis 50m in length; N-S axis 25m in length. Bank up to 1m high on W and E sides, and is removed on N and S sides.'
