Half a century of ploughing has shaved the ringfort in Turin to a low scar, yet the circular shadow remains visible when the sun sits low. The lost entrance and hidden passage suggest the fort was never merely a boundary but a threshold between ordinary farmland and forgotten life. People may have walked through that missing gap at dawn, carrying butter, children or fear into the dark chamber below. The earth still holds the shape of that movement even though the names and doors have vanished.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 33m) enclosed by a low, much-denuded earthen bank. Two earthen banks extend outside the scarp from ESE-N-NNE. These are later features probably dating to the period in which the site was transformed into a tree-ring. A modern field boundary extends outside the scarp from NNE-E-ESE. Original entrance not recognisable. Possible remains of a Man-made underground passage (CV038-062002-)in the internal area.
