What is recorded here
Fairy people never build straight lines. They make circles because circles have no edges for humans to grab. The flat ground inside the ring is not empty. It is a room waiting for company. The ditch around the outside is not a boundary. It is a invitation. Walk halfway around the circle and look back. The path will have changed. Run home before midnight. The fairies do not chase. They wait for you to stop running and admit you belong inside the circle now.
Situated c. 20m W of a field boundary on a gentle W-facing slope in poorly drained undulating pasture. Circular area (diam. 23m) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; Wth 2m; ext. H 0.6m) with an external fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.3m).
