What is recorded here
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a hachured arc (C c. 40m) N-E-S, and situated on a slight rise in an undulating landscape. This is a grass-covered area (diam. 31m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.6-1m) NW-E-S, which merges into the slope elsewhere. There is a quarry just to the NE.
