Fairy fort in Tedeehan Upper, County Cavan, is a circular earthen ring about thirty-eight metres across, old enough to have been called a fairy fort before people stopped believing that explanation. A modern laneway cuts through part of its bank and a drain circles it, yet the shape still reads as a room built by human hands for living, not a maze made for wonder. Whatever door it once had has vanished under soil and traffic, leaving the fort both exposed and forgotten.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 38.5m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank which has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary and is now surrounded by a modern drain. The bank has also been levelled from WSW-W-N and a modern laneway, delimited by an earthen bank on its W side, is built on its site and encroaches on the interior of the rath.
