Fairy fort in Screeboge: a raised D-shaped ringfort, about 28 metres across on a low pasture rise, marked only by a shallow scarp and a lost entrance. People may have lived there before the land was forgotten, or the fairies may have taken the shape and left it behind. Either way, the ground keeps its own secret and waits for someone to notice the line where the earth rises.

On a low rise in undulating pasture. This raised D-shaped area, with a straight SE side (L c. 28m), is defined by a low scarp (H 0.2-0.3m). The original entrance is not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 26 August 2011
