Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Scartnadrinymountain is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Scartnadrinymountain, County Waterford, Ireland. It occupies a subcircular grass-covered area measuring 30 metres east-west and 25 metres north-south on a west-facing slope at the western foothills of the Monavullagh Mountains. A 4.5-metre-wide earth and stone bank defines the enclosure, rising 0.8 to 1.8 metres internally and 1 to 2.2 metres externally, with the bank removed from the west through north-northwest. An outer fosse runs northeast to southwest, reaching 1.1 metres deep at the east end and reducing to a 4-metre berm toward the northwest, while a possible 2.1-metre entrance faces west.
Situated on a W-facing slope at the W foothills of the Monavullagh Mountains. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 30m E-W; 25m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.8m at W (downslope) to 1.8m at E; ext. H 1m at W to 2.2m at E), with internal stone-facing NE-S. The bank is removed from W-NNW. An outer fosse (Wth of top 3.7-4.3m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.2 at S to 1.1m at E) NE-SSW is reduced to a berm (Wth 4m) SSW-NW. The site is curtailed by a stone-faced field bank at N which lies between it and rath (WA014-005----). There is a possible entrance (Wth 2.1m) at W. Rath (WA014-007001-) is c. 30m to the S. The monument remains unplanted in a coniferous forest.
