In tillage, on NNW-facing slope. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m). According to local information, fosse c. 3-4m deep surrounded fort. Levelled c. 1977; no visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
