What is recorded here

Located partially on the crest of a N-S ridge and on the SE slope, in undulating pastureland. A roughly circular site (diam. 28m NE-SW) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.7m; int. H 0.36m; ext. H 1.06m). No external fosse visible. Break in bank in E quadrant (Wth 2.1m). Field boundaries run close to the edge of the site as shown on the 1952-3 ed. OS 6-inch map.
