Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ross (dorrha Par.)

Situated on a NE-facing slope of rising ground just below the top of a ridge in an upland area with a destroyed enclosure (TN005-011) to the W. A large circular area (diam. 55m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank ( Wth 3m; ext. H 1.5-4m) and a wide, flat-bottomed external fosse (Wth 3.3m; D 1.5m) with a possible ramped entrance (Wth 7m) at S which appears to have been widened by agricultural activity.
