Situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground with a nearby enclosure site (TN005-011) and ringfort (TN005-012) to the N. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
