Fairy fort in Rathnee, County Cork: a levelled 45-metre ring on a gentle west-facing slope above Finnow stream, still marked by a low rise in pasture. People may have lived there before fields and forgetting moved across it.

In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope, overlooking Finnow stream. Depicted as hachured, roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; circular area (45.5m N-S; 44.5m E-W) defined by low rise. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
