What is recorded here

No visible wall marks the boundary of this strange room. The chamber is a circular area forty-three metres across, shaped by an inner bank, a wide fosse and an outer bank. A possible entrance with causeway remains at the west. The measured parts are clear, but the visible chamber does not say whether they formed one lived place or a broken map of several.

In undulating countryside. A circular area (diam. c. 43m) defined by an inner bank (Wth c. 2.7m, int. H c. 0.5m, ext. H c. 1.1m), intervening fosse (Wth c. 3.8m) and outer bank (Wth c. 3m, int. H c. 1m, ext. H c. 0.4m). Possible original entrance (Wth c. 4m) with causeway at W.
