Marianne and her children danced around the Rasillagh fort at midnight, laughing when shadows peeled from the earthen bank to join them. They left a ribbon in the grass and ran home before dawn, certain the fairies had accepted the gift. Years later, marbles and button coins appeared in their pockets, proving the border between worlds remains thin in Meath.

Located on slight rise which is on an E-facing slope in an undulating landscape. This is a slightly domed (H 0.4-0.5m) but overgrown area (diam. 22.5m E-W; 20m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth of base 5-5.5m; int. H 0.3-0.4m; ext. H 0.6-0.8m), with slight traces of an external fosse E-SSW. There are gaps in the perimeter at N, ENE and SE. It could be a ring-barrow.
