Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ramanny is a raised circular and grass-covered area at the N end of a N-S drumlin ridge, measuring 25m E-W and 24m N-S. A scarp rising to 2.4m at SSE and a hedge incorporating a field bank define its edge, though no fosse or original entrance remains visible. People may have lived inside this simple earthwork before it became a fairy fort in local memory, but the ground no longer records whether it was a home, a boundary or a forgotten field.

Located at the N end of a N-S drumlin ridge. This is a raised circular and grass-covered area (diam. 25m E-W; 24m N-S) defined by a scarp (at SSE: max. H 2.4m) and hedge, which incorporates a field bank on top of the scarp S-NW. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
