Fairy fort in Pollynoon, County Galway: a subcircular ringfort about thirty metres north-south on a ridge summit, overlooking bog to the northeast and south. Its stone-faced bank survives from north-northwest through east to south; a field bank cuts the western limit, and the rest has vanished into grass and memory. The place still performs its old function, holding a shape on the horizon while refusing to explain itself.

No visible surface trace survives elsewhere. A field bank cuts its former limits at W.
