One hundred years of rain and a million years of forgetting built the fort. Human hands may have shaped the edge, but water and time completed the work. The chamber holds no skeleton, no treasure, no name. It holds the shape of patience itself.

On a gentle N-facing slope in tillage. A large oval area (int. diams. 60m N-S ; 54.7m E-W) is defined by a low scarp (H0.6m) NW-N-E, and elsewhere by a later earthen field boundary bank and an external drain which may be a recut fosse.
