Situated on a natural rise in low-lying wet grassland, with good views in all directions. Stream marking townland boundary with Carricknagower lies 230m to S. Ringfort (WM016-039---) 170m to N. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 25m NW-SE; 22m NE-SW) enclosed by a low poorly preserved earthen bank and a slight external fosse. The interior rises slightly towards the centre, where traces of cultivation ridges are visible.
