Situated on a slight rise in low lying wet grassland, stream marking townland boundary with Calliaghstown lies 115m to W. Ringfort (WM016-040---) 170m to S. A large oval shaped area (approx. diam. 45m NW-SE; 40m NE-SW) enclosed by a two earthen banks with an intervening fosse. The inner bank is low and fragmentary; the fosse is visible from NW-NE, at W and at SSE. The very slight external counterscarp bank is visible from NW-NNE. The interior has a slight slope from N-S.
