Situated on a gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 30m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.8-3m; ext. H 0.8-1.8m; int. H 0.5m) and an external fosse (Wth 2.8m; D 1m). There is a causeway (Wth 3m) over the fosse at the NE but no corresponding gap in the bank. The interior of the fort is raised (H 0.5-1m) above the outer ground level. No indication of internal features.
