Fairy fort in Moat Town, County Meath: a circular earthwork, about thirty metres across, with one ditch and a possible five-metre gap at the south-east, seen as a cropmark on satellite imagery. It is called a rath, a ringfort, though no wall or house remains visible. On flat land it becomes a shadow in the soil, a circle drawn by water and forgotten by people.

Situated on a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by a single fosse feature and with a possible entrance gap (Wth c. 5m) at SE is visible on Google Earth (29/06/2018; 14/07/2018).
