Located on a rise which is on a S-facing slope. This is a subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 30m NW-SE; 25m NE-SW) that that is domed (H 0.4-1.1m) but slopes down to the S and SW (H 1m). It is defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at NE: Wth of base 3.3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.8m) NE-S that is largely reduced to a scarp which melds into the natural slope (at NW: H 1.7m). There is no visible fosse and the entrance is a ramp (Wth of base 2.2m) at SE.
