Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Loughanstown (corkaree By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Loughanstown (corkaree By.), County Westmeath, Ireland. A 1976 description records the upstanding monument as a sub-circular area measuring approximately 34 metres north to south and 32 metres east to west, enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and a shallow external fosse. The bank is best preserved from west-southwest through north to north-east, while the fosse is visible at north-northeast and very faint elsewhere. An entrance gap and a causeway across the fosse at the east are recorded, and the site appears as a cropmark of a levelled monument on a November 2011 aerial photograph.

Situated on the N facing slope of a high ridge in grassland, with views restricted by the surrounding hills. Ringfort (WM012-095---) 140m to NW, ringfort (WM012-105---) 150m to SE. The field fence which forms the boundary with Rathlevanagh townland lies 30m to W. Cropmark of levelled monument visible on Digital Glober aerial photograph taken November 2011. Upstandign monument described in 1976 as a sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 34m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and shallow external fosse. The bank is best preserved from WSW-N-NE, and reduced to a scarp elsewhere. The fosse is visible at NNE, and is very faint elsewhere. The interior slopes gently to NNE. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.5m) and a causeway (Wth 2.4m) across the fosse at E. A NE-SW field fence intersects the monument at N. See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
