Marianne said the missing fort still breathes beneath Lomanagh soil, its hidden passage waiting for someone brave enough to listen. We walked the western field at dusk, pressing ears to cool earth while cattle lowed in the distance. Marianne swore she heard dripping water and her own name returned louder than she spoke it. We left before dark because the ground felt alive, not empty.

In the 1930s Capt. D. B. O'Connell noted that at the foot of the hill below the conjoined raths (KE094-038----, KE094-038005-) and about 400m to the W of them was 'another distinct liss, now cleared away for farming purposes' (KAS). A possible Man-made underground passage (KE094-038004-) was also noted by O'Connell in this rath (KAS). The precise location of this rath and Man-made underground passage is not known.
