Fairy fort in Lissard, County Cork: a circular earthen enclosure about 30m across, mapped in 1842 and partly levelled by 1902. It stood in pasture, a simple ring of earth where people may have kept animals, buried tools or marked a boundary. What remains is a low rise to the north, east and west, faint enough to miss unless the land is known. The fort is small, old and half forgotten, but its shape still resists the field.

In pasture. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m). Shown on 1902 and 1939 OS 6-inch maps with E bank removed. Levelled; low rise to N, E and W traces line of bank.
