Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in a mountainous region with a nearby moated site (TN034-059) to the NW. The barely discernible outline of a circular area (diam. 30m approx.) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3.5m; ext. H 1.4m) and outer fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.5m) both of which survive as a field boundary from S to W only, elsewhere destroyed.
