Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lackan (athlone North By., Lackan Ed) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lackan (athlone North By., Lackan Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a south-facing slope as a subcircular grass-covered area measuring 34.6 metres north-south and roughly 29 metres east-west. An earthen bank 5.9 to 8.1 metres wide surrounds the interior, while an outer fosse reaches 7.8 metres across its top and 0.75 metres deep at the southern edge. Remnants of a second outer bank persist along the southeast-west and west-northwest sections, with slight traces of a causeway at the southeast but no identifiable original entrance.
On a S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 34.6m N-S; c. 29m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.9-8.1m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.45-1m) and outer fosse (at S: Wth of top 7.8m; Wth of base 2.2m; D 0.75m), with the remnants of an outer bank (at S: Wth 5.1m; ext. H 0.5m) SSE-WSW and WNW-NNW. There is no identifiable original entrance, but there are slight traces of a causeway at SE.
