Knocknageeha North holds a twenty-eight-metre earthen circle where human hands shaped the earth long before modern drains cut through it. The bank still rises ninety centimetres on the outer edge, though soil removed for local boundaries has flattened much of the rest. Young trees now shadow the interior slope, marking a place where ancient life and forgotten fairy tradition both claim the same quiet ground.

In pasture, on gentle SW-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Circular area (diam. 28m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.9m) NE->W. Bank incorporated into field boundary system NE->ESE; deep V-shaped drain dug to outside and material dumped atop bank. Rough surface suggests fosse infilled to S and SW. Interior slopes down to SW; planted with young trees. One of three levelled single-ramparted forts (CO030-070---; CO030-073---) recorded by Bowman 91934, 277) on Miss Victoria Allen's land.
