What is recorded here

Knockbarry holds a thirty-metre circular earthwork where ancient hands shaped soil into a defensive ring. It stands among neighbouring forts and enclosures, suggesting a busy landscape rather than a lonely outlier. The fairies may have borrowed the shape, but human muscles built the bank and dug the fosse.
