Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Knockadalteen is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Knockadalteen, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle NW-facing slope above a S-N stream, c. 50m to the E. A circular grass-covered area, 27m across, is defined by an eroded earthen bank with some bushes, a scarp, and an outer fosse at NE.
On a gentle NW-facing slope above a S-N stream, c. 50m to the E. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 27m) defined by an eroded earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.4-3m; int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.5-1m) S-SW and NE-E, and a scarp (H 0.25-0.95m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 3m; D 0.1-0.3m) at NE. There is no visible entrance.
