What is recorded here

Kilronane East holds a thirty-nine-metre earthen ring where human hands shaped the slope before memory faded. Stone and soil still mark the circle, perhaps dumped by farmers clearing fields or placed by residents building a home. The fairies may have taken the people, but they left the shape behind.

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Circular area (39m N-S; 39m E-W) defined by scarp (H 1m) W->SE; low earthen bank (int. H 0.8m) SE->SSW. Possible field clearance material, now grassed over, dumped atop scarp ENE->SE; stone dumped SSW->NNW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
