Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilnaneave, Monaquill is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilnaneave, Monaquill, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a gentle north-facing slope in rolling pastureland and remains visible as a roughly circular area 18 metres north-south and 21.8 metres east-west. The enclosure is marked by faint ditch remains 2.3 to 3.5 metres wide, while the interior slopes slightly westward and field boundaries approach the east and north sides.
Situated on a gentle N-facing slope in rolling pastureland. Depicted as a small circular enclosure on both the 1st and 2nd ed. OS 6-inch maps. The site has been levelled but is visible as a roughly circular area (diam. 18m N-S; 21.8m E-W) delimited by the faint remains of a fosse (Wth 2.3-3.5m). The interior slopes slightly to the W. Field boundaries run close to the E and N sectors. The site was inspected in 1958 and classified as a ringfort (OPW files).
