Kilnagnady is a hidden ringfort, erased from modern sight but marked as a circular enclosure on the 1842 Ordnance Survey map. The absence of surface trace does not mean absence of structure, because tradition preserves a man-made underground passage in the northeast quadrant. The land may have swallowed the stones while the passage continued to breathe beneath the grass.
