Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilmacumsy is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilmacumsy, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a level landscape as a circular grass-covered area twenty-nine metres across, bounded by a four-metre-wide fosse that reaches one metre deep internally and two decimetres externally. A earlier description recorded a gapped earthen bank and outer fosse traces to the west and northwest, but no entrance remains visible today.
On a level landscape. Descirbed as a subcircular area (diam. 35m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by a gapped earthen bank, with traces of an outer fosse W-NW (Gannon 1972). It is now visible as a circular grass-covered area (diam. 29m) defined by a fosse (Wth 4m; int. D 0.4-1m; ext. D 0.2m). There is no visible entrance.
