What is recorded here

Killytogher holds a thirty-seven metre circular scar where human hands shaped earth into a boundary before memory faded. The low bank still stands though modern trenches cut beside it and field lines replace the eastern edge. People may have lived inside that small world, marking ownership or resisting danger with nothing but raised soil. The forgotten entrance vanished beneath grass and traffic, leaving the fort to keep its shape while forgetting its name.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 37m) enclosed by a low earthen bank and very slight traces of a fosse identifiable only from SW-W. From E-S bank has been replaced with a modern field boundary. Elsewhere its outer face has been scarped and it has a modern external trench. Original entrance not recognisable.
