What is recorded here

Killashee and Aghakeeran once held a forty-nine-metre earthen ring on a gentle slope, but quarrying and drainage cut through the living shape until only a faint memory remained. The fairies may have built it, or humans may have forgotten it; either way the earth kept its own counsel. What is left is a ghost of a circle, warning that even solid things can be erased when nobody remembers they exist.

On a gentle NE-facing slope in pasture. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a raised circular area (diam. 49.5m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone. There was no trace of a fosse. Immediately outside the bank at SW was a disused quarry. The original entrance was not recognisable. A linear NW-SE field drain divided the interior into roughly equal portions.
