What is recorded here
On a gentle NE-facing slope in pasture. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a raised circular area (diam. 49.5m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone. There was no trace of a fosse. Immediately outside the bank at SW was a disused quarry. The original entrance was not recognisable. A linear NW-SE field drain divided the interior into roughly equal portions. The rath has since been levelled and only the outline of its perimeter is identifiable.
