Keelagh holds a twenty-metre earthen ring where a shallow central depression still waits for explanation. The bank rises from the west through the north while a faint ditch marks the southern edge, creating a boundary that defies easy measurement. People may have lived inside this simple circle before forgetting the name of the gate, leaving behind a shape that resists explanation.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 22m) enclosed by a low earthen bank best preserved from W-N-NNE and the remains of a fosse identifiable only from S-W-NW. Original entrance not recognisable. Immediately S of centre is an irregularly shaped shallow depression of unknown significance.
