Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Inch St. Lawrence North is a roughly circular earthen ringfort on a south-facing slope in County Limerick, Ireland. Its scarped edge, external fosse and counter-scarp bank still mark a small defended or ceremonial space overlooking pasture to the southwest, west and south. A field boundary has cut through part of the enclosing earthwork, yet the ring remains clear enough to imagine people moving through it, watching the land or keeping something out.

Situated on a S-facing slope in gently undulating, poorly-drained pasture, with good views to SW, W and S. The monument consists of a roughly circular area (18.5m E-W; 17.2m N-S) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 5.2m; H 0.9m) with an external fosse (Wth 4.9m) and a counter-scarp bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 4.9m; ext. H 0.3m). A field boundary truncates the enclosing element from ESE to S. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 25 June 2013
