Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Herbertstown (dunboyne By.)

Fairy fort in Herbertstown, County Meath: a circular earthen ring about fifty metres across, with a single ditch and a five-metre gap at the southeast, sitting at the end of a low ridge. People may have lived there, or kept livestock, or simply marked the land before maps existed. The fairies, according to local story, took it over later and refused to leave. Either way, the shape still holds.
