A 45-metre earthen ring in Haggardstown holds animal bones and mussel shells inside its ditch, marking it as a lived-in place rather than a empty shape. The circle may have served people who cooked, buried or gathered at that spot before the land changed. The hidden passage beneath adds a second chamber to the story, inviting imagination about what was concealed or protected below.

Discovered during archaeological test trenching (Excavation Licence 94E0197). A circular area (max. diam. 45m) enclosed by a ditch (Wth 5.5m; D 2.2m) with a possible entrance on the E side. Finds from the ditch included animal bones and mussel shells. A possible Man-made underground passage (LH012-054002-) located beneath.
