Fairy fort in Grenagh South is a circular earthen enclosure about 28m across on a south-facing pasture slope, marked on the 1842 Ordnance Survey map. It looks like a low ring where grass grows thicker and rain collects at the edge. People may have lived, buried, hidden or worshipped there before the field became ordinary. The shape still holds its own gravity, waiting for someone to stop and listen.
