Fairy fort in Gortdromagh, County Cork: a 25-metre earthen ring with a 3.4-metre bank, eastern gap, southern interior raise, and a western underground passage. It stands atop an east-west ridge in pasture, shaping the land rather than waiting to be explained. People may have lived, hid, or marked the ridge there before fairy labels appeared; the passage still invites that doubt.

In pasture, atop E-W ridge. Circular area (diam. 25m N-S) enclosed by earth and stone bank (H 3.4m). Gap in bank to E. Interior raised on S side to compensate for hill slope; Man-made underground passage (CO132-006002) at W side.
